Care Designed Around Time, Access, and Relationship

A different approach to primary care — built for continuity, trust, and thoughtful care.

TideShift Health was created out of a belief that primary care works best when there’s time to listen and space to build real relationships. Too often, care feels rushed, fragmented, and disconnected from the people it’s meant to serve.

By limiting our patient panel and working outside of insurance billing, we’re able to slow things down — offering care that’s responsive, personal, and grounded in continuity over time.

ABOUT

Carla Walter MMS, PA-C

I’ve been a practicing Physician Assistant for over ten years, with the majority of my career spent in family medicine.

Over time, my work in primary care deepened my focus on metabolic and preventive health, and how these connect to hormones, mental wellbeing, and daily life.

I enjoy digging into the details to understand how each patient’s unique story fits into their overall health.
My approach is collaborative and practical — I want patients to understand the why behind every recommendation and to feel confident that the plan we create is something they can realistically follow.
As I often say, “the most effective medication is useless if we can’t swallow the pill.”

MY PHILOSOPHY

After more than a decade in medicine, I've learned that real healing begins with being seen and understood. I work with patients to uncover the why behind their symptoms and create realistic, sustainable plans for change. My goal is simple — to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered in your health journey.

My approach is practical, collaborative, and designed to meet you where you are — so we can move toward better balance and lasting well-being.
